2009 SCT Fellow: Mary Foulkes
 Mary Foulkes has contributed to the coordination, conduct, and leadership of clinical trials, promotion of a better understanding by the general public of RCTs and has provided significant service to the SCT. - Mary is currently Research Professor at George Washington University . She had been Branch Chief at 2 institutes and Director of the Office of Biostatistics and Epidemiology of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research at FDA. Her contributions include leadership in the development of 1) community clinical trials programs, 2) large simple trials of vaccines; 3) FDA Guidance for Clinical Trial sponsors on the Establishment and Operation of Data Monitoring Committees, and 4)an educational program that was offered to science reporters.
Her service to SCT has been extensive including Student Scholarship Committee, Program Committee and tenure as an Associate Editor of the Societys Journal.
