Key Information Salary: Appointments will be made at the appropriate academic level, subject to skills and experience. At ICR, academics are appointed as either Career Faculty, which is non-time limited with a competitive salary, or as Career Development Faculty, which is a six-year fixed term contract on the Career Development Faculty scale, starting at £66,092 in the first instance. Job Details Under the leadership of Professor Emma Hall, we are seeking to appoint a Research Group Leader to join The CRUK Clinical Trials and Statistics Unit at the ICR. The ICR-CTSU is a research-led, academic trials unit established in the 1980s. The main objective of the ICR-CTSU is to lead the design, conduct and analysis of multi-centre national and international randomised controlled clinical trials of cancer treatments which will directly influence routine clinical practice within the NHS and worldwide. Key Requirements The successful candidate will ideally have: Higher Degree (MSc or PhD) in Medical Statistics or an allied subject. Significant experience as a biostatistician with a research interest in clinical trials methodology. Broad understanding of cancer research Evidence of intellectual leadership (Career Faculty) Ability to generate research funds to support the group. Director, Early Phase Clinical Trials & Precision Therapeutics

The University of California, Irvine is seeking applicants for the position of Director, Early Phase Clinical Trials & Precision Therapeutics. The Director will be responsible for the development and growth of UCI’s early phase clinical trials portfolio for both oncology and non-oncology indications, across the UCI Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center’s (CFCCC) Stern Center for Cancer Clinical Trials & Research (Stern Center), the UCI Center for Clinical Research (CCR), and the UCI Alpha Stem Cell Clinic (Alpha Clinic).This position will report to the CFCCC Director and the UCI School of Medicine Vice Dean for Clinical Research. The incumbent will be a member of the oversight committees for the Stern Center, CCR, and Alpha Clinic and will maintain regular communication with School of Medicine leadership (Dean, Vice Deans, Institute for Clinical and Translational Science director, and clinical Chairs) and other key stakeholders (e.g., CFCCC Internal Advisory Board, External Advisory Board, CCR, and AC Advisory Boards). The home department appointment will be in whichever is most appropriate for the selected candidate.
